Mailings are queued and sent automatically once you've scheduled a message to be sent. You can check the "send status" at any time. UNIQUE PRICING MODEL: A FLAT FEE WITH UNLIMITED SENDINGS AND LISTS
Your MailUp subscription is not based on a cost per e-mail, or a cost per contact (or per list) model. You pay only a fixed monthly fee, and you are free to send any number of e-mails, to any number of contacts, compatibly with the bandwidth that you subscribe to.

That is: the slower your messages are sent, the less you pay. If you don't care whether your newsletter gets sent in 2 or 4 hours, then sending it over 4 hours would cost you half. And you can always upgrade your bandwidth if you need more speed.
